Journyx Timesheet uses license keys to control the number of users in, optional modules available to, and other characteristics of each unique Timesheet installation. When your organization purchased Timesheet, your sales representative provided you with a license key that was configured to meet the functionality and number of users you purchased.

Normally, this key only needs to be entered once, immediately after installation. However, if you decide to purchase additional user seats or optional modules at a later date, you will need to enter your new license key in the License Key Modification Screen. This screen is accessed via the License Key link located in the Application Settings section of the main Admin screen.

The License Key Management Screen allows you to enter a new license key and some additional information about your organization's installation of Timesheet.

When you receive a new license key from Journyx, either when you first purchase Timesheet or when you purchase additional user seats or modules, you will need to enter the new key in this screen. Please copy the key directly from the email in which it was sent to you and paste it into the New License field.

The remaining fields on this screen, Company Name, Customer Number, Administrator Name, Administrator Phone and E-mail, are all required and Timesheet will not allow you to enter a license key without entering this information as well. This data is returned to Journyx only to when necessary for support issues and will not be used for any commercial purposes.

Once you have entered your license key and any additional information, click the Button. Timesheet will display a confirmation screen showing you the difference between the current key and the new key. On this screen you may change to the new license key or retain the old key if desired. In either case, Timesheet will display a new confirmation window after you click either the Button or the Button.

After you have changed your license key, you may navigate freely throughout Timesheet and enjoy any optional modules unlocked by your new key.
