Login Screen Help

Help Contents

The Login Screen is your entry point for Timesheet. Enter your login ID and password and then click the Button. Timesheet will then display your start screen. Your start screen is based on your user role. If you are a regular User, your start screen is typically your time entry screen. Most other users, including Managers, Project Managers, Administrators, have an Admin screen as their start screen.

Possible Login Issues And Their Solutions

Login Problem Solution
You do not know your login ID. Contact your organization's Timesheet Administrator to get this information.
This is your first time to log in to Timesheet and you do not know your password. When you log in to Timesheet the first time, your password is the same as your login ID. After you log in, Timesheet will ask you to change your password. That password will then be your password for all subsequent logins.
You have previously logged in to Timesheet and you have forgotten your password. Please contact your Manager or your organization's Timesheet Administrator to have your password reset.
You have just installed Timesheet and are logging in as the installing admin for the first time. When you log in to Timesheet as the installing admin for the first time, the login and password are both set to the user name you are currently logged in as in the operating system that is running on the Timesheet host machine.

A Note On Case Sensitivity

Login IDs are case sensitive in Timesheet. Therefore, if your login ID is "mjwatson" you must enter that login in all lower case. Timesheet will not log you in if you enter "MJWatson" or "MJwatson" or any other combination that does not match the actual case of your login exactly.

Passwords are also case sensitive in Timesheet. You must enter your password in exactly the same case as it was created.
